AN ORDINANCE OF THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE, ]KENDALL COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, APPROVING A PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT OF SUBDIVISION FOR
STAGECOACH CROSSING
WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville (the "City ") is a duly organized and validly existing
non home -rule municipality created in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970
and the laws of the State; and,
WHEREAS, Elefterious Saravanos, the owner of approximately 9.47 acres located at Saravanos
Way, located west of Route 47 and south of Route 71 (the "Subject Property "), legally described in
Exhibit A, attached and made a part of, has submitted an application and petition for a preliminary and
final plat of subdivision for the development of Stagecoach Crossing; and,
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is located within the corporate limits of the City and is zoned
as a B -3 business service district; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of the Subject Property is requesting to subdivide the property into 7
lots, with lot 7 reserved for stormwater management, and lots 1, 4, and 6 already built out; and,
WHEREAS, in order to allow for separate ownership of the lots within the Subject Property and
the development thereof, the Mayor and City Council deem the approval of said preliminary and final
plat of subdivision to be in best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the United City of
Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1. The above recitals are incorporated and made a part of this Ordinance.
Section 2. The Corporate Authorities hereby approve the preliminary and final plat of
subdivision submitted by Elefterious Saravanos for the approximately 9.47 acres located at Saravanos
Way, located west of Route 47 and south of Route 71.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval, and
publication as provided by law.
