The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by .Joe Besco_

Minutes for Correction/Approval: August 7, 2007 — The minutes were approved as
presented,
New Business
1, PW 2007-126 Provena-Dryer Storm water Basin —This basin is leaking, They
have tries unsuccessfully to stop the leak, 3 different options were discussed.
Option I or Option 3 were acceptable to the Aldermen. Option I was to continue
the efforts to seal the basin, and Option 3 was to fill in the basin with dirt and
change it into an infiltration basin. This will go back to the developer. It will also
move on to COW as informational.
2 PW 2007-127 Grande Reserve Unit 12 —Site Development LOC Expiration —
This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda.
3 PW 2007-128 Grande Reserve Unit 13 —Site Development LOC Expiration —
This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda.
4, PW 2007-129 Grande Reserve Unit 13 — Site Inspection LOC Reduction No.
I — This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda.
5, PW 2007-130 Grande Reserve Unit 14—Site Inspection LOC Reduction No.
1 —This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda.
6, PW 2007-131 Raintree Village Unit 5 — Site Development LOC Expiration -
This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda
7 PW 2007-132 In-Town Road Program (Phase 2 Utilities) -Change Order#3 -
This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda,
8 PW 2007-13.3 Grande Reserve Regional Par-]( —AT&T Utility Easement—
This was tabled until October
9. PW 2007-1.34 Proposed Wetland Ordinance—This will come back to
committee in October.

10, PW 2007-135 River Road — Plat of Dedication —There was discussion on the
bridge and the removal of the dam This will go on to COW on Consent Agenda.
11. PW 2007-136 Well No. 7 Update— The motor is at Byron & .Jackson_ There was
discussion on shipping the pipe back to Iowa to be re-cut and re-threaded. The
insurance might pay for it. This will go on to COW as informational.
12. PW 2007-137 Monthly Tool Inventam y —This is just informational.
13. PW 2007-138 Prairie Gardens Subdivision —Subordination of Surface Rights
—This is for land outside the public right of way that was dedicated to the city for
a utility easement IDOT needs it for the widening of-Rt. 47 MOT will be on
the hoot: for relocating any utilities This will move on to COW on Consent
Agenda.
14, PW 2007-139 Yorkville Middle School — Subordination of Surface Rights -
This will move on to COW on Consent Agenda.
15 PVV 2007-140 Bristol Bay Units 1-7 —L,andscape Bond Reduction #1 - This
will move on to COW on Consent Agenda
16 PW 2007-141 Updated Capital Improvement Program — This will move on to
COW for discussion
17 PW 2007-142 Plat of Vacation —202 River Road —This will move on to COW
for discussion. Approval is recommended subject to staff and legal review
18 PW 2007-143 Committee Liaisons Appointments — Alderman Plocker will go
to the Palk Boa id mectings and Alderman Besco will on to the YBSD meetings.
No fiuther action is needed,
Old Business
1, PW 2007-108 Lr-Town Road Program Phase 3 —This will go on to COW as
informational Lists of streets to work on will be r equested from all the Aldermen
in time for the next Public Works meeting.
2. PW 2007-121 Reimbursement for Dutch Elm Disease Trces —This will be
chan-ed to nuisance trees. A nuisance tree is one that is dead, dying, or diseased,
Sample ordinances will be brought back to committee.
Additional Business
Alderwoman Sutcliff asked about keeping people from packing on W Somonauk Street.
This would have to go through Public Safety. She also asked about property standards
and property maintenance for a certain house. Bill Dettmer should be contacted.
Alderman Besco had a complaint about a resident on Blain St. had been dumping his
lawn clippings and burning them, This will be looked into
Alderman Besco said the Hatcher Medical Center has not updated the elevator and there
were safety concerns
Alderman Besco asked about the truck bids. They are due to be opened on September
2151
