Additional Business
Alderwoman Sutcliff asked about the parking lots for the Jewel, Ace Hardware, and new
strip of stores on Rt. 34. She wondered if there was a way to have them all connected so
consumers would not Save to go on and off Rt 34 if they wanted to go to all the different
stores. Ace Hardware is in the county, and they have no intention of connecting their
parking lot to the others
.Toe Wywrot said a MPT Appropriation Resolution would have to be made for the
Yorkville Marketplace Traffic Light The bid was $113,000 and tine MPT would be for
$120,000 so there would be a $7,000 cushion should it be needed.
.Toe Wywr°ot also said they are working on a fee for cul-de-sacs in a development in an
effort to reduce the number of them.
Alderman Besco wanted to thank the Public Works Department for their leaf pickups.
Next year another possibility to inform residents about the leaf collection dates would be
to put them on the police trailer or on sandwich boards around town.
The meeting was acljoumed at 8:02 P M.
