City Council Minutes 1988 07-28-88 (public hearing) MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF
YORKVILLE. KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS . HELD AT CITY HALL ON JULY 28.
1988 .
RE : WOODWORTH ANNEXATION
Present were Mayor Davidson, Clerk Erickson , Aldermen Jahp , Hayden,
Small . Radke . Fahrlander , and Bown, and Attorney Kramer , along with
interested parties .
Mayor Davidson called the public hearing to order at 6 : 54 p .m.
Attorney Grant presented the Woodworth Estates Preliminary Engineering
Plan regarding their annexation.
The one change is for the easement that is reserved for a future
roadway extension to Quinsev Road between lots 68 and 69 .
Mayor Davidson requested the bottommost street of Phase 3 be dedicated .
Attorney Grant stated that the annexation agreement was previously
submitted and a few areas were changed. They will be annexing the
whole area at one time , rather than in phases . They are requesting
no variances . The roads will be to city specifications . Within 3 years
Quinsev Road will be brought up to an A3 quality road . The time frames
for the various projects will be set up in the Letter of Credit .
Mayor Davidson then opened the meeting to public questions .
Mrs. Riley asked about the extension of Gawne Lane, and Attorney Grant
responded that it was not a concern of the petitioners for the future
of an extension for Gawne Lane .
The storm sewer in connection with Barry Niles Foxfields development
was a concern. It was stated that the City is now waiting for a legal
from Attorney Ingemunson before it can go any further . There will
be catch basins along Quinsev for Foxfield , kas well as for
Wackerlin ' s subdivision .
There being no further discussion , Alderman Jahp moved to adjourn the
public hearing at 7 : 10 p.m. , seconded by Alderman Hayden. Motion
carried.
