involved.
2) Historic Walking Tour— Eric Lechowicz is not in attendance to discuss.
3) Historic Jail- Howard Manthei stated that inside the parlor is ready to paint. He said that he has to
put one more coat of plaster on the walls. He said that the four windows are ready for the new
windows. He said that those should be done this next week. He said that he bought a ladder and he said
that he hasn't spent more than around $400.00. He said that he has not heard about any grants or
anything. He said that once the parlor is finished in the next couple days it will be ready for a painting
party. Stephanie Todd stated that she knows a painter that will do work for a good price. Stephanie
Todd said that she will get an e-mail out for a painting party. Howard said that he has a DVD that
shows what work has been done. Rick Falato stated that he could get that on local cable access for
people to see for more publicity. Howard brought in pictures from the jail downstate that is a"twin" of
our jail. The committee looked at all the pictures to see how they restored that building. Howard stated
that an individual private group owns the building. Howard asked if we plan on having an open house
and who will be in charge of it for Halloween. Howard said that when he talked to Robyn Sutcliff she
wasn't too optimistic that those that did it last year would be interested this year. Harold stated that we
will have it because we need to. Harold stated that with the way things are in economy right now it is
becoming harder to get people to volunteer time etc. Harold said that it is a big fundraiser and we need
to do it.
4) Public Relations - Harold Oliver stated that Valarie Burd is not in attendance tonight so we can't
discuss anything tonight.
5) Grants— Harold Oliver said that he has a girl that works in his office that is doing some research on
