Chairman Carlo Colosimo called the meeting to order at 6:30pm, quorum established.

Minutes for Correction/Approval: July 3, 2013
The minutes were approved as read.
New Business:
1. PS 2013-20 Police Reports for June-July 2013
No discussion or comments.
2. PS 2013-21 Request to Dispose of Two Police Vehicles
It was noted the purchase of new vehicles has already been approved and there was no discussion on
the disposal. This item will move to the Council consent agenda.
3. PS 2013-22 Request to Dispose of Three Firearms
There was no discussion on this item and it will also move to the next Council consent agenda.
Old Business:
1. PS 2013-08 Ordinance Adopting License Regulations for Pawnbrokers and Resale Dealers
The ordinance had been revised following last month's recommendations. Alderman Kot and
Funkhouser approved of the ordinance as written, however, Chairman Colosimo is not in favor of the
ordinance. By a 2-1 recommendation, this matter will move forward to the full Council for discussion
under the Public Safety agenda.

Additional Business:
Alderman Kot asked if businesses downtown are being notified promptly of the road closures in
conjunction with the Rt. 47 road project. Mr. Olson said emails are sent or phone calls are made and
the information is posted on Twitter and Facebook immediately. He said no complaints have been
received yet and Alderman Colosimo noted the area has been well-marked. Alderman Kot said the left
turn lane for Van Emmon goes right through to the northbound lane. It was noted that drivers must
follow the barricades.
There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned 6:35pm.
