RESOLUTION 01-
RESOLUTION APPROVING ROUTE 34 AND GAME FARM ROAD
INTERSECTION DESIGN STUDY
WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville,through its Mayor and City Council, after careful
consideration have found and deemed it necessary and for the benefit of the City to contract with
Smith Engineering Consultants, Inc. to perform a survey and intersection design study for the
intersection of Route 34 and Game Farm Road in the Untied City of Yorkville;and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council deem it to be in the best interest of the City to
perform the survey and intersection design study;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE,upon
motion duly made, seconded, and approved by a majority of those Alderman voting, that the City
Council hereby approves the Route 34 and Game Farm Road Intersection Design Study proposed
by Smith Engineering Consultants, Inc. and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign a contract
with Smith Engineering Consultants, Inc. to perform said study in an amount not to exceed
$14,300.00.
