RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF SEWAGE PUMPING STATION FOR
RIVERFRONT PARK/RECREATION BUILDING
WHEREAS,the City Council,Mayor and Public Works Department have deemed it necessary
and in the best interest of the City to purchase a Sewage Pumping Station for the Riverfront Park/
Recreation Building; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff has research the different types of Sewage Pumping Stations
available and has determined that Sewage Pumping Station offered by Metropolitan Industries,Inc.,
best suits the needs of the City of Yorkville; and
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department is authorized to purchase said Sewage Pumping
Station for an amount not to exceed $5,500.00 from Metropolitan Industries, Inc.:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE,upon
motion duly made, seconded, and approved by a majority of those Alderman voting,that the Public
Works Department is authorized to purchase the proposed Sewage Pumping Station from
Metropolitan Industries, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $5,500.00 and that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to sign any contract necessary to effectuate said purchase.
