Resolution 2000-16 STATE OF ILLINOIS ) )ss COUNTY OF KENDALL ) RESOLUTION NO: 2000-- — RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WATER HOOK-UP FOR COUNTY OF KENDALL HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville through its City Council,Mayor, and City Staff, have strived to provide a harmonious relationship with other governmental bodies; and WHEREAS, the County of Kendall Highway Department is surrounded by real property annexed to the United City of Yorkville and serviced by City Sanitary Sewer and Water improvements; and WHEREAS, the County of Kendall has requested water service to its County Highway Department in lieu of private well; and WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville in consideration of a mutual governmental body needing said services,and wishing to provide an economic benefit to the citizens of Kendall County; and WHEREAS,the United City of Yorkville is willing to charge hook-up and recapture cost at its out of pocket expense for a water meter, and required recapture costs; and is further willing to waive all normal hook-up fees: NOW THEREFORE, upon motion duly made, seconded, and approved by a majority of those voting,it is hereby resolved that the County of Kendall shall be permitted a water meter of one inch, connected to a one inch line hook-up for its Kendall County Highway Department Building 1 on Route 47 adjacent to the boundaries of the United City of Yorkville. Said hook-up shall be charged at the price of Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($225.00) for reimbursement to the United City of Yorkville for the actual cost of a water meter, and water rates shall be paid at normal rates. Further the County of Kendall shall reimburse the City Six Thousand Six Hundred Seventy- Six Dollars&72/00($6,676.72)based upon the recapture costs of the water main that has previously been installed and the Recapture Agreement and Ordinance previously instituted by the City for expansion of said services. The City waives any hook-up fees or further costs customarily associated by the City with hook-up to the City water main due to the County of Kendall Highway Department being a public taxing body.
