RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE CITY'S SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES
WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Mayor and the City Council of THE
UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE deem it necessary for the Mayor and City Clerk have access to
the City's Safe Deposit Boxes;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that two (2)persons be present any time
the Safe Deposit Boxes are opened;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City that if either the Mayor or City Clerk is
unable to access the Safe Deposit Boxes due to death or incapacity then any Alderman or the
City Treasurer may have access in their respective places;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE
that the Mayor and City Clerk shall have access to the City's Safe Deposit Boxes and that both
are required to be present during the opening of said boxes unless either is dead or incapacitated
in which case any Alderman or the City Treasurer may have access in their place.
