RESOLUTION NO.: 99- I
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE
UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
THE ILLINOIS COUNTIES RISK MANAGEMENT TRUST FOR
CITY LIABILITY AND WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE COVERAGE
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of Yorkville deem it to be
in the best interest of the City and the Community to enter into a contract with the Illinois Counties
Risk Management Association for the City's liability insurance and workman's compensation
insurance; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have considered all other options for liability
insurance and workman's compensation insurance;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the United City of Yorkville that the City hereby
authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with the Illinois Counties Risk
Management Trust for the City's liability insurance coverage and for the City's Workman's
compensation insurance coverage for an apn ual cost of$121,216 to be effective on May 14, 1999.1
