RESOLUTION NO. 97- XP
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION TO AND AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM GRANT FOR A WATER STORAGE RESERVOIR AND
APPURTENANCES ON NORTH ROUTE #47
WHEREAS, THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE is applying to the STATE OF
ILLINOIS for a Community Development Assistance Program Grant, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the application be made and agreements entered into with
the STATE OF ILLINOIS.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED
1) that THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE apply for a grant under the terms and
conditions of THE STATE OF ILLINOIS and shall enter into and agree to the
understandings and assurances contained in said application, and
2) that the Mayor and City Clerk on behalf of THE UNITED CITY OF
YORKVILLE execute such documents and all other documents necessary for the
carrying out of said application, and
3) that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to provide such additional
information as may be required to accomplish the obtaining of such grant.
4) that THE CITY OF YORKVILLE is applying for a grant of$500,000
toward a new $1,000,000 gallon water storage tank to facilitate certain
development in the Yorkville Business Center.
