RESOLUTION 96-
WHEREAS, the City of Yorkville has grown in population and in
complexity, and
WHEREAS, the responsibilities have grown in monitoring and
maintaining the City finances, and
WHEREAS, a position of Account Clerk II with the attached job
description is needed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the position of Account
Clerk II be established at an hourly rate of $10 . 86 per hour
( $22,588 . 80 per year) with the attached job description to be
filled by the current Account Clerk I, Kimberly King, effective May
13, 1996 .

JOB DESCRIPTION
ACCOUNT CLERK II
This job entails the full range of accounting duties for the City including
responsibilitity for payroll, employee records, payment of bills with all journal
entries, budget reports, treasurer's reports and other reporting as is required and
requested from time to time. This job also entails assisting the office star with
duties such as answering the telephone and helping the public at the front counter.
This person should be personnable, helpful and willing to learn other facets of the
other office tasks so as to be able to fill in when needed and to perform other duties
as directed. The following is a listing of the job responsibilities:

Run Vendor Checks
Running Employee/Elected Officials Payroll
Quarterly Tax Reports
Budget Reports
Treasurer's Report - Monthly/Annually
Cash Receipt Entry
Monthly Journal Entries
Filing
Answering Phones
Maintaining all Personal Records
Handle all Insurance Claimms from Employees
Keep Running Records of Dental/Vision Claims
