Resolution 1996-18 MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT This memorandum of agreement dated this 4 day of NI 996 is to be added as an addendum to that certain collective bargaining agreement made and ered into by and between the City of Yorkville and the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council/Yorkville Patrolman Unit on the 1 st day of May 1996. Whereas, by its terms said agreement was to be opened in March 1996 for the sole purpose of negotiating wages for the year beginning May 1, 1996 and ending April 30, 1997, and; Whereas,the parties have concluded negotiations and agreed upon a wage increase for such time period; Now,therefore,for and in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein and therein contained, the aforesaid collective bargaining agreement is herewith amended at Appendix B, granting all patrol officers a four(4) percent pay increase across the board. This pay increase is detailed in the "Amended Appendix B -Rate Schedule", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Except as expressly amended for wages, all other provisions of the existing collective bargaining agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect. This council included the following associations of colleges and universities: North Central, Western,New England, Southern, Middle States and Northwestern. ** Starting base salary. The Council may, because of prior experience, accelerate the duration of employment of an individual upon the recommendation of the department head.
