RESOLUTION 1996-,
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE
CANOE LAUNCH GRANT
WHEREAS, the United City of the Village of Yorkville is in a position to receive grant
funds from the State of Illinois for improvements to its Riverfront area; and
WHEREAS, the United City of the Village of Yorkville through its City Council and
Mayor have determined that the use of these funds would be beneficial to the Community in
general and improve the Riverfront of the City; and
WHEREAS, these funds are necessary in order to improve the area on the River for a
Canoe launch and Boat launch.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the United City of the Village of Yorkville through
its City Council and Mayor that the Mayor of the City of Yorkville and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute and enter into any and all documentation necessary to accept and/or apply
for the canoe launch grant.
