RESOLUTION NO. 1996-
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE TO SIGN HOLD
HARMLESS LETTER WITH GARY BENNETT ALLOWING CITY TO BURN BRUSH
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the United City of
Yorkville deem it to be in the best interest of the citizens of
said City to sign a Hold Harmless Letter with Gary Bennett,
allowing the City to burn brush on property located at 10825
Corneils Rd. , Plano, IL.
NOW THEREFORE, upon motion duly made, seconded and approved
by a majority of those members voting hereon, the City Council
authorizes the Mayor to sign the Hold Harmless Letter with Gary
Bennett .
Passed and approved this 19th day of December, 1996 .

HOLD HARMLESS LETTER
The City of Yorkville hereby agrees that in consideration of Gary Bennett allowing the
City to burn brush on his property located at 10825 Comeils Road, Plano, Illinois, that the City
of Yorkville and Gary Bennett agree to hold each party harmless from loss, personal injury, or
property damage caused by the acts of each other, their agents, employees or invitees, in
connection with the burning of City of Yorkville's brush on the above property.
The City of Yorkville agrees to hold Gary Bennett harmless and to indemnify and defend
him, his successors, heirs and assigns from any liability from any acts of city employees in
connection with the burning of the City of Yorkville's brush on the subject real property of Gary
Bennett.
In return Gary Bennett, his successors, heirs, and assigns, employees, agents, invitees or j
family members agree to hold the City of Yorkville harmless and to indemnify and defend the
City its successors, heirs and assigns from any liability arising from the acts of himself his
successors, heirs, assigns, employees, agents, family members or invitees, in connection with the
burning of the City of Yorkville's brush.
