WHEREAS, 14CD6NA.LD'S is sponsoring a Cruise-Night in the UNITED Ct 'X OF
THE VILLA613 OF YORKVILLE which event constitutes a public purpose:
WHEREASo this event will require the temporary entrance off of Route 4�1j a
State Highway in the County of Kendall from p. .- to
WHEREAS, Section 4-4o8 of the Illinois Highway Code authorizes the
Department of Transportation to issue permits to local authorities to ternpotarll f hstto
access to porHonsl of the State Highways for such public purposes.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Temporary Access shall occur duning

BE IT i FURTHER RESOLVED that this temporary closure is for the pub 1c:

purpose of allowing MCDONALD'S CORPORATION to have a "Crulse-Night"land to
permit parking on vacant land at the Northwest corner'of Route 47 and Route 34, a

temporary access shall be petmitted off of Route 47, which will be maintaitied ;to the
satisfaction of the depau anent and which is conspicuously .arked for the benefit of
traffic exiting from the State highway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the MCDONALD'S assumes full
responsibility for the direction, protection, and regulation of the traffic dtitittS th'
time the event is in effect.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that police officers or authorized flagg06 s�all
rkiAg
at the expensO of the MCDONALD'S be positioned at the entrance of said pit
areas as may be necessary to assist in directing traffic through the temporary access;
BE IT FUR'T'HER RESOLVED, that such signs, flags, barricades, etc., shall be
used by MCDONALD'S as may be approved by the Illinois Department of
Transportation. These items shall be provided by the Sponsor, MCDONALD'S. '.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the temporary access shall be triarked
according to the Illinois Manual on Uniform Traffic Control devices.
MCDQNALD'S hereby agrees to assume all liabilities and pay aft clailnna r
any damage which shall be occasioned by the closing described above.

comprehensiie general liability insurance policy or an additional insuted
endorsement4n. the amount of $100,000 per person and $500,000 aggregate Whi h as
