COUNTY OF KENDALL )
RESOLUTION NO. 1995-
WHEREAS, the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, County of Kendall,
State of Illinois, plans to make street improvements, known as Section 95-00015-00-FP,
and
WHEREAS, there are insufficient Motor Fuel Tax Funds available to the City at this time
to do this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that the City Clerk be authorized
to transfer from other City funds to the Motor Fuel Tax Fund sufficient monies to complete
payment of both construction costs and engineering fees incurred in Section 95-00015-00-
FP, to be improved under the provisions of the Motor Fuel Tax Law, within ninety (90) days
after completion of the work.
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that the City Clerk shall thereafter return such monies to the
appropriate accounts as future reimbursement of Motor Fuel Tax funds are received from
the State of Illinois, and
BE IT FURTHER PROVIDED, that no interest charges will be made against said Motor
Fuel Tax funds by such transfers.

PAYBACK RESOLUTION USING 1996 MFT FUNDS
Dear Jim,
As discussed at the June 19th Public Works committee meeting, we are required to pass
the attached resolution at tonight's City Council Meeting regarding MFT funding for the
subject project. As you know, this will allow obligation of MFT funds for overlays planned
for Hydraulic, Main and Park Streets (which must be paid for with 1995 MFT monies due
to the maintenance definition of overlays) as included in our 1995-1996 fiscal year budget.
This is needed due to the IDOT fiscal year ending December 31, 1995, while the City's
ends April 30, 1996.
As agreed we intend to borrow no more than $50,000.00 from the City's General Fund
during calendar year 1995 to pay for the Center Parkway work. This will be paid back with
MFT funds collected during the 1996 calendar year. At a rate of approximately $9,000.00
per month (based on our special census) this will take 5 or 6 months, in the event that all
$50,000.00 is needed. Final accounting will of course be based on actual cash outlay for
all our 1995 MFT construction and maintenance work.
