RESOLt"I'ION REJECTING WATER TOWER PAINTING f1;,
WHEREAS, Mayor and the City Council of THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE
OF YORKVILLE, had issued a publication and bid packages for procuring bids to authorize the
painting of the North City Water Tower at Tower Lane; and
WHEREAS, all of said bids substantially exceeded the cost estimates of the CITY; and
WHEREAS, weather prohibits the painting said Water Tower at the current point in rime,
and the competition dates in said bids were not satisfactory to City Staff and Engineering
recommendations received by the CITY:
NOW THEREFORE, upon motion duly made, seconded, and approved by a majority of
those members voting due hereby recommend the rejection of all Water Tower painting bids for
the North City Water Tower.
