RESOLUTION 1994-I
RESOLUTION APPROVING CAR LEASE-PURCHASE
WHEREAS, the United City of the Village of Yorkville has deemed it necessary to enter
into a lease-purchase agreement for a new automobile to be used by the City Administrator and
for purposes of use by the City for attendance at conferences and review of City projects; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined from the bids received to provide said automobile that
the lowest and most responsible bid is for a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix to be purchased from
Detzler Pontiac on the basis of a smart-lease lease-purchase agreement consisting of 35 payments
of$329.77 plus a balloon payment at the conclusion of said lease of$8,700.48; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville
deem it to be in the best financial interest of the City to purchase a vehicle on said terms and
conditions:
NOW THEREFORE, the Mayor is authorized to execute a credit application and purchase
agreement form on a "smart-lease" purchase agreement with Detzler Pontiac for a 1994 Pontiac
Grand Prix.
