Resolution 1992-13 A RESOLUTION APPROVING LIBRARY PARTICIPATION IN STATE GRANT PROGRAM ft BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS; WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, have deemed it to be in their best interest to have the City of Yorkville Library Participate in a State Library Grant Program for the betterment of the citizens within the Yorkville School District; and WHEREAS, the State of Illinois through its subdivisions and agents is providing a State grant to local library districts providing funds by which library services can be authorized and used by citizens throughout the Yorkville School District on the basis of said grant being made to the Yorkville Library District; and WHEREAS, said grant will provide a benefit to the citizenry of the Yorkville School District and does not bind the City of Yorkville to further expansion of service to said area without further council approval: NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the United City of the Village of Yorkville that the Yorkville Library District is hereby authorized and is and does enter into a state grant to provide for grant monies being distributed to the Yorkville Public Library for extension of services during the coming fiscal year to all citizens residing within the Yorkville Public School District.
