RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE NAMES
OF CITY OFFICERS AUTHORIZED
TO ENTER SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES AT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF
THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of the
Village of Yorkville, upon recommendation and requests from Yorkville National
Bank to provide names of those parties authorized to enter any City safety
deposit box, and further to provide for the entry to any safety deposit box
in any financial institution by designated City Officers, and to provide for
the orderly storage of City records in safety deposit boxes:
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council and Mayor of the United City of
the Village of Yorkville hereby direct and authorize that any financial institution
holding a safety deposit box in the name of The United City of the Village
of Yorkville shall then authorize the then current Mayor, City Clerk, or
Treasurer of the City to have access to said safety deposit box. Upon taking
office, or as shortly thereafter as is practical, the individual holding said
office shall arrange with the financial institution to sign a Change of Authority
card allowing the then current named holder of each of the above specified
three (3) offices, to have access to the safety deposit box.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Ordinance has been enacted this At- day
of February, 1990.
