Ordinance 1992-15 r Ordinance Number: �C' - An Ordinance Establishing The Installation and Removal of Stop and Yield Signs at Various Intersections BE IT ORDERED, by the City Council of The United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of The United City of the Village of Yorkville, deem it to be in the best interest of traffic and pedestrian safety in said city, and in view of having done a traffic study to ascertain the necessity of adding additional stop and yield signs in The United City of the Village of Yorkville; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council and the Mayor of The United City of the Village of Yorkville, upon motion duly made, seconded, and approved, hereby authorize the Public Works Department to install stop and yield signs and to remove stop signs at the following locations: 1. Install a stop sign at eastbound Walnut Street at McHugh Street. 2. Install a stop sign at eastbound Jackson Street at McHugh Street. 3. Install a stop sign at eastbound Elm Street at McHugh Street. 4. Install a stop sign at eastbound Park Street at McHugh Street. 5. Install a stop sign at eastbound Somonauk Street at McHugh Street. 6. Install a stop sign at northbound Bruell Street at Spring Street. 7. Remove the stop sign at eastbound Spring Street at Colton Street. 8. Remove the stop sign at westbound Spring Street at Colton Street. 9. Install a yield sign at westbound Elm Street at Freemont Street. 10. Install a yield sign at southbound Freemont at Park Street. 11. Install a yield sign at northbound Freemont at Park Street. 12. Install a yield sign at eastbound Somonauk at Freemont Street. 13. Install a yield sign at westbound Somonauk at Freemont Street. 14. Install a yield sign at northbound Liberty at Park Street. 15. Install a yield sign at southbound Colton at Main Street. 16. Install a yield sign at southbound Liberty Street at Main Street.
