Ordinance 1991-12 ORDINANCE NO. 1991- / "/ AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CITY STOP SIGNS BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS: WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, deem it to be in the interest of public safety, to provide for the installation of stop signs on Jackson Street at the intersection with Freemont Street in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, to provide for stopping of vehicles traveling East and West on Jackson Street at the intersection with Freemont Street. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council and the Mayor of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, upon motion duly made, seconded and approved hereby direct the Department of Public Works to install stop signs on Jackson Street at its intersection with Freemont Street, in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, to provide for stopping of vehicles traveling East and West on Jackson Street at the intersection with Freemont Street.
