Ordinance 1990-18 ORDINANCE NO. 1990- AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CITY STOP SIGNS BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS : WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, deem it to be in the interest of public safety and health, to provide for the installation of stop signs on all four corners of the intersection of Spring Street and Colton Streets in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, to provide a four-way stopping of vehicles travelling East and West on Spring Street and North and South on Colton Street. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council and the Mayor of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, upon motion duly made, seconded and approved hereby direct the Department of Public Works to install stop signs on all four corners of the intersection of Spring Street and Colton Street in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, to provide for a four-way stop at said intersection.
