ORDINANCE NO. 1989-
AN ORDINANCE REZONING REAL ESTATE
JOHN G. CONOVER and ALICE CONOVER - HILLCREST AVENUE
WHEREAS, JOHN G. CONOVER and ALICE CONOVER, his wife, as owners
of the real estate hereinafter described situated in the United City of the
Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, to-wit:
PARCEL ONE:
That part of North Avenue and that part of Lot 122 in
Countryside Subdivision, Unit Eight, Yorkville, Kendall
County, Illinois lying Westerly of a line described as
follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot
122; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said Lot
122, a distance of 260.02 feet; thence Northerly at right
angles to the last described course, 60.0 feet to the
Northerly line of North Avenue for the point of
beginning of said line; thence Southerly along the last
described course and its extension, 306.95 feet to the
Southernmost line of said Lot 122 for the terminous of
said line.
PARCEL TWO:
Lot 111, Countryside Subdivision, Unit Eight, Yorkville,
Kendall County, Illinois.
have heretofore caused to be filed with the corporate authorities of the City
of Yorkville an Application For Rezoning of said real estate; and
WHEREAS, each of said parcels of real estate are presently zoned B-1,
Limited Business District, under the zoning ordinance of the City of Yorkville
and the owners-applicants desire to rezone said real estate to R-3, General
Residence District, under the zoning ordinance of the City of Yorkville; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Yorkville, Kendall County,
Illinois, has heretofore investigated the desirability of rezoning said real
estate and has conducted a public hearing thereon and has recommended to
the City Council of the City of Yorkville that said real estate be rezoned
to R-3, General Residence District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council
of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as
follows:
Section 1 . That the real estate herein described be and the same is
hereby rezoned from B-1, Limited Business District, to R-3, General Residence
District, in accordance with the zoning ordinance of the City of Yorkville.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be and she is herewith authorized and
directed to change the zoning map of the City of Yorkville to reflect the
change of the zoning herewith granted.
Section 3. That the City Council of the City of Yorkville herewith confirm
that the following described parcel of real estate is now zoned B-1, Limited
Business District, to-wit:
That part of North Avenue and that part of Lot 122 in
Countryside Subdivision, Unit Eight, Yorkville, Kendall
County, Illinois lying Easterly of a line described as
follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot
122; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said Lot
122, a distance of 260.02 feet; thence Northerly at right
angles to the last described course, 60.0 feet to the
Northerly line of North Avenue for the point of
beginning of said line; thence Southerly along the last
described course and its extension, 306.95 feet to the
Southernmost line of said Lot 122 for the terminous of
said line.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and hereby are superceded insofar as such conflict exists and insofar
as they are applicable to the real estate described herein.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and

after its passage and approval as provided by law.
PRESENTED to the City Council of the United City of the Village of
Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, on this 23rd day of February, 1989.
