KE(-ORUtx OF DEEDS WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 24, Section 11-91-1 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, the United City of the Village of Yorkville, a municipal corporation, upon determining that the public interest will be served by vacating any street or alley, or part thereof, within its jurisdiction may vacate that street or alley, or part thereof, by an Ordinance; and WHEREAS, there is now in existence in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, a portion of North Avenue hereinafter described and depicted on the exhibits attached hereto and made a part hereof which said part of North Avenue is no longer in use as a public street or thoroughfare; and WHEREAS, the owners of the real estate adjoining said North Avenue have proposed to dedicate to the United City of the Village of Yorkville a street to be known as Hillcrest Avenue, said dedication being a part of "COUNTRYSIDE SUBDIVISION - UNIT 8 - YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS", and WHEREAS, the public use and public interest will be served by the vacation of the street right-of-way hereinafter described and depicted in that the vacation of said street or roadway will eliminate traffic congestion, will promote the orderly flow of traffic and will relieve the public from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining said public street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, that the following described street or roadway, commonly known as a part of North Avenue, be vacated, to-wit: (see attached vacation sketch) SK 195 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that title to said real estate upon the recording of this Vacation Ordinance shall vest in the then owners of the land abutting thereon. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law. Passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, on the day of � �ti-t 1989, by the affirmative vote of at least three-fourths of the aldermen then holding office.
