AN ORDINANANCE ESTABLISHING CITY STOP SIGNS
BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY
COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE,
KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City
of the Village of Yorkville, deem it to be in the interest of pubaa and health, to provide for the installation of stop signs at the
corner of the intersection of Quinsey Street and McHugh Street in the
City of Yorkville- Kendall County, Illinois; and at the Northeast corner
of the intersection of Leisure Street with Prairie Street; and at the
Southwest corner of Leisure Street with Sunset Street to provide for
the stopping of cars leaving said Leisure Street.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council and the Mayor of the United
City of the Village of Yorkville, upon motion duly made, seconded and
approved hereby directs the Department of Public Works to install stop
signs at the intersections of the Southwest corner of Quinsey Street
and McHugh Street, the Northeast corner of Leisure Street and Prairie
Street, and the Southwest corner of Leisure Street and Sunset Street,
in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Ordinance has been enacted this
day of October, 1988.
