Ordinance 1987-02 ORDINANCE NUMBER 1987- 02 AN ORDINANCE RESCINDING WEST VAN E JON STREET AS A ONE-WAY STREET BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS: WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of the Village Yorkville, deem it to be in the best interest of trafffic safety in said City, and having duly considered the requests of adjoining residents of West Van Emmon Street to rescind the previous Ordinance passed by the United City of the Village of Yorkville establishing West Van Emmon Street as a one-way street; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council and the Mayor of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, upon motion duly made, seconded, and approved hereby rescind all action and the Ordinance establishing West Van Emmon Street as a one-way street, and heretofore immediately shall allow two-way traffic on West Van Emmon Street. All traffic control devices and signs indicating that said street is open to one-way traffic shall be removed as quickly as possible upon passage of this Ordinance.
