Ordinance 1985-13 ? v t ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE REVISING AND AMENDING THE LIQUOR ORDINANCE OF THE UNITED CITY OF VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE PASSED AS ORDINANCE NO. 16-1979 WHEREAS, the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE has hereto- fore adopted an Ordinance governing the licensing and sale of alcoholic liquors within the corporate limits of the City; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was adopted on the 21st day of April, 1960, and has been modified from time to time thereafter, and a specific Ordi- nance having been approved by the City Council as Ordinance No. 16-1979 on September 27, 1979; and WHEREAS) the City Council desires to amend certain portions of that Ordinance as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE that said Ordinance regulating the sale of alcoholic liquor is amended as follows: SECTION I CLASS OF LICENSE Section III of the Ordinance passed as Ordinance No. 16-1979 shall be amended to create a 'Beer only" and a 'Beer and Wine only" classification. SECTION II LICENSE FEE That Section IV of the Ordinance passed as Ordinance No. 16-1979 shall be amended to provide that the fee for a 'Beer only" or a 'Beer and Wine only" license shall be Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and no/100 ($750.00) on an annual basis. SECTION III That each holder of a liquor license in any class in the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE shall at the time of renewal pro- vide to the Yorkville City Clerk or Liquor Control Commissioner a letter or certificate of insurance dated within thirty (30) days of the renewal showing current Dram Shop Insurance coverage for the license holder. SECTION IV That the number of retail liquor licenses available in the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE shall be reduced from four (4) to three (3) SECTION V That in all other respects Ordinance No. 16-1979 is ratified and confirmed as the codification of all existing liquor regulations in the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE.
