Ordinance 1976-31 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS TO PERMIT PERSONS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL OFFENSES TO SECURE A COPY OF THEIR CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, Kendall County, Illinois that every person arrested for any criminal offense by a Police Officer of the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, and only such person as may have been arrested, may secure a copy of his or her criminal history record by paying the actual expense incurred by the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE for reproducing copies of the same, such charge being $10 .00 per individual request. Only such person as may have been arrested may secure such copy of criminal history record after first showing identification to the Chief of Police in such form as the Chief of Police of the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE requires to reasonably assure the Chief of Police of the identity of the person seeking the criminal history record. No criminal history record shall be released to any other party or parties than law enforcement officers and agencies , prosecutors or the individual about whom the criminal history record is made. -2- This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its due passage and publication as heretofore provided and as provided in the Statutes of the State of Illinois .
