THE UNITED CITY OF THE VIT r 0r �LAGF. 7 .C—ND.UL COUP--', TLLIN70=S GO'T ^� MOVING-OF BUILDINGS n-EI�Z'AS, the City Council. of the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE- has heretofore, to-•pit, or. the 14th day of February, A.D. 1974, passed a certain Ordinance entitlad and styled "An Ordinance of the United City of the Village _ of Yorkville, Rendall County, Illinois Governing the Moving Of Buildings" ; and WHEPEAS, said Ordinance has been considered by the said City C^l=cil and City AttorT:ey of the MNITEB CTmy or THEE VILLAGE OF YORXVILLE; and WHER3AS, certain language-In said Ordinance is considered to be by the said City Council inappropriate to the protection of the public health and safety in the moving of buildings. 1'101'7, TIiEREFORE, BE IT OPDAINED by the UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE as follows: Section l: That Section 6 Of "An Ordinance of the United. City of the Village of YorLvi:Ie, Kendall County, I1?inois Governing the Moving of Buildings" he end the same is hereby amended to read as follo,07s: "Section 6: Estimate of cost and deposit. ' The applicant shall also deposit w _th the City Clerk a cash deposit sufficient to cover the cost to the City, as estimated by .the said Building Inspector, of trz�:�^iing, moving, removing or replanting trees or sh.u. and n of disconnecting any sever or water lines to the said 2t--ucture, and any other removal or displacement og other property or equipment of the said City. " - Section 2: That Sect4 o:i E of "Pon Ordinance of the United City of the Village of Yor;,1113, -Kendall County, Illinois Governing the Moving of Buildings" be and the same is hereby 6 � f , -2- amended to read as follows: "Section 8: 0•aner's, completion bond or savi_^.cs and loan car ilftcate and share. Prior to the issuance ^� a permit to move a building, the owner or lessee of the property upon which the building is to be located shall file with the said Building Inspector a corpoatte surety bond, conditioned as follows: That all of the work required to be done to complete the relocation of the building and. comoletion in accordance with Section 9 of this Ordinance, and pu sua-rit to the conditions of. the said per^it, shall be fully performed and completed within a reasonable time, to be specified by the said Building inspector in the vermit. ... Such bond shall be in a principal a.^ount . ecual to the estimated cost of the work proposed to be done plus ten per cent the.rsof, shall name the City as obligee, and shall be in a for: approved by the City Attorney- "In lieu of furnishing such a corporate surety bond, the owner or lessee may post a cash deposit in the arourt of said bond. "An extension of time for said completion may be granted in writing by the said- Building Inspector w;:en, . in his discretion, circrostances shall so justify, but no such extension_ shall release any surety or other security." Section 3: That all other. sections of the Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois Governing the Moving of Buildings" , as passed and approved by the City Council on the 14th day of February, A.D. 1974, are expressly ratified and re-enacted. Section 4: That this Amend..Tent to "TL'?
