Ordinance 1973-31 A AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PARKING IN THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: Section 1: That those two parking spaces lying on the easterly side of Route 47, also known as Bridge Street, and immediately west of the front entrance of the new library building shall be designated for fifteen (15) minute parking; and no vehicle shall be parked upon the aforesaid portion of Route 47 for more than fifteen consecutive minutes, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. daily, excluding Sundays and holidays. Section 2: That all ordinances in conflict herewith are expressly repealed; however, this Ordinance shall not affect or modify any other ordinances except as the same directly conflict herewith. Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this Ordinance shall be fined 50¢ for each offense. Section 4: The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
