Ordinance 1973-32 AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PARKING FINES FOR PARKING VIOLATIONi IN THE UNITED CITY OF TIC VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOI"). WHEREAS, the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois has investigated and inquired into the advisability of amending parking ordinances in said City of Yorkville with respect to fines for parking violations, and; WHEREAS, the City Council, after investigation and upon advice of the Police Committee of the City of Yorkville, has determined that the public interest will be sub-served by such amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1: That all parking ordinances of the United C ty of the Village of Yorkville, heretofore passed and approved, shall be amended as follows: (a) Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of said ordinances by over-time parking, shall be fined 50¢ for each violation. (b) Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of said ordinances by double parking, shall be fined $3.00 for each violation. (c) Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of said ordinances by parking in front of a. fire plug, shall be fined $5.00 for each violation. Section 2: That all ordinances in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. However, this Ordinance shall not affect or modify any other Ordinances except as the same directly conflict herewith. Section 3: The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
