Ordinance 1973-38 AN ORDINANCE OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, INCREASING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR, CITY CLERK, LIQUOR COMMISSIONER AND ALDERNIIN. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: Section 1: That in accordance with the Illinois Municipal Code, the compensation of tzie mEV or and aldermen of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, is hereby fixed at Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars for each regular City Council meeting attended. Section 2: That the compensation of the City Clerk of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois is hereby fixed at $1200.00 per year. Section 3: That the compensation for the Liquor Commissioner of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois is hereby fixed at $300.00 per year. Section 4: That the provisions of this ordinance shall only appl%y to those city officials elected on or after April 16, 1973 and no other salary or compensation shall be allowed any alderman other than herein set forth. Section 5: That this ordinance shall repeal all other ordinances or resolutions of the United City of the Village of Yorkville heretofore passed and adopted that conflict herewith. Section 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
