Ordinance 1971-04 a 4 AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PARKING IN THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY,ILLINOIS BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: Section 1 - That it has been determined by the City Council that a hazardous traffic condition exists on Bridge Street between Van Emmon Street and Franklin Street (Fox Road) in the said City, and in order to protect the public, and to provide for the safety and welfare of pedestrians and motor vehicles operators along and upon that said street, it shall be unlawful for any truck, bus, van, or car towing a trailer to park on either side of said Bridge Street between south line of Van Emmon and the north line of Franklin Street (Fox Road) Section 2- That the provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Section 3 - That all ordinances in conflict herewith are expressly repealed, however, this Ordinance shall not affect or modify any other ordinances of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois, except as the same directly conflict herewith. Section 4 - Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00), nor more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense.
