Ordinance 1969-43 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO GASOLINE AND VOLATILE OILS BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: Section 1 - That the operation of motor fuel dispensing equipment at Service Stations in the City of Yorkvilb, is hereby permitted by persons other than the owners or authorized employees, said persons to include, but shall not be limited to, patrons of Service Stations. Section 2 - That the rules and regulations of the Department of Publ is Safety relating to the general storage of gasoline and volatile oils, in effect at the date of this Ordinance and those rules and regulations hereinafter adopted, are hereby adopted in full with the exception of any provisions therein which conflict with this Ordinance. Section 3 - Any person, firm, association or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance, or any of the rules and regulations of the Department of Public Safety adopted pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 12, Chapter 104 of Illinois Revised Statutes, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by fine of not less than $10.00, nor more than $50.00, for each offense. Each day of a violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, or the rules and regulations of the Department of Public Safety shall constitute a separate offense. Section 4 - That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and they are, hereby repealed insofar as such conflict exists. Section 5 - That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon and after its passage and publication as required by law.
