Ordinance 1969-46 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE UNITtu CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLt, KENUALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS AMtNDEu WHEREAS, William Mosley and Joy Mosley, as owners of record of the property hereinafter described, have petitioned the Mayor and City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, to rezone and reclassify the said property from Residential District Uses to B-2, Business Uistric�- Use,, and WHEREAS, after due notice by publication as required by law, the Zoning Board of Appears has held a hearing upon the said petition and has reported and recommended to the Mayor and City Council that such rezoning and reclassification be approved; and WHEREAS, upon investigation by the United City of the Village of Yorkville, it has been ascertained that said petition in all respects conforms to the requirements of the Illinois Municipal Code and the Zoning Ordinance of said City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORUAINEU by she City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: Section 1: That the Zoning Ordnance of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, approved October 28, 1940, as amended, by any and all other or further amendmen`s enacted prior hereto, be and the same is hereby further amended as follows: The following described real estate in the United Ci ty of the Village of Yorkville, heretofore zoned Residential Uistrict Uses under the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby rezoned and reclassified as B-2 , Business Uistrict Use:; : Lot 3 and the West half of Lot 2 in Block 8 of Black's Addition to the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois; also, the East 15 feet of Lot 1 in Block 9 of Black's Addition aforesaid extending from the North line of Hydraulic Avenue to the South bank of Fox River, in the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois. Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the United City of the Village of Yorkville be and the same is hereby amended to show the said real estate zoned as B-2, Business Uistrict Uses. �C AN ORDINANCE OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, VACATING A PORTION OF MADISON STREET LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS. WHEREAS, the Corporate authorities have considered the vacation of a portion of Madison Street located in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, K:-:ndoll County, Illinois, hereinafter more fully described, and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has investigated and inquired into whether or not the public interest will be sub-served by vacating a portion of said street, and, WHEREAS, the City Council after investigation has determined that the public interest will be subserved by the vacation herein proposed and that in the judgment of the City Council said vacation is necessary and desirable, except that the City shall reserve such rights of way and easements as presently exist for continuing public service by means of sewer and water facilities and for the maintenance, renewal and reconstruction thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDby the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That the following described property being a portion of Madison Street in the City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, be and the same is hereby vacated under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Illinois: That portion of Madison Street in the City of Yorkville, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 6 in Block 21, in Black's Second Addition; thence Northerly to the Southerly line of Block 23, in,Black's Second Addition; thence Westerly,�to the toufhwest corner of Lot 3, in Block 23, in Black's Second Addition; thence South erJyfto' the Northerly Iine of Block if, i'n' Bf'ack's Second � Addition, extended Westerly; thence Easterlynto✓the point of beginning, in the City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois.
