AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY AND LANDS
TO THE CITY OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Chapter 24, Article 7, Division 1, Section 7-1-8 of the kr3c3iauxocs
Illinois Revised Statutes for 1967 provides that any territory which is not within
the corporate limits of any municipality but which is contiguous to a municipality
and which territory has no electors residing therein, may be annexed by a written
Petition signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory, and
WHEREAS, a Petition to annex certain real estate to the City of Yorkville
has been presented to the Mayor and City Council of the United City of the Village of
Yorkville, which Petition provides that Walter S. Olsen and Blanche E. Olsen, husband
and wife, are the owners of record of the following described real estate, and as such
owners desire that said real estate be annexed to the City of Yorkville, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing within such territory, and
The question of annexation of the following territory has been considered by
the Mayor and the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall
County, Illinois,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and the City Council of the United
City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois:
Section 1 - That the territories and lands described as follows:
That part of Sections 32, 33, 4 and 5, Township 36 North, Range 7
East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Commencing
at the Southeast corner of Lot 1 of Hughes Subdivision of Lot 1 of
Owner's plat of part of the Southeast quarter of Section 32; thence East
along the South line of said Lot 1 extended 107 feet to the Easterly line
of State Route +47; thence Northeasterly along the said Easterly line,
being on a curve to the right 102.4 feet; thence South 890 East, 519.5 feet
for a point of beginning; thence South 890 East, 312.7 feet to the Westerly
line of state route # 126; thence Southeasterly on said Westerly line of
state route #126, 448 feet; thence North 890 West, 688.8 feet; thence
North 10 East, 244.8 feet to the point of beginning, partly in the City of
Yorkville, North of the South line of Sections 32 and 33, and partly in
Kendall Township, South of the South line of Sections 32 and 33, Kendall
County, Illinois, containing 2.81 acres.
being contiguous to the City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois is hereby annexed
to said city.
Section 2 - That the boundary lines of the United City of the Village of
Yorkville be and they are hereby changed to include within the corporate limits thereof,
the above-described territory.

Section 3 That a certified copy of this Ordinance annexing the territory,
together with an accurate map of the annexed territory shall be filed for recording in
the Recorder's Office of Kendall County, Illinois by the City Clerk.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law.

WHEREAS, Chapter 24, Article 7, Division 1, Section 7-1-8 of the Illinois Revised
Statutes provides that any territory which is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality and which territory has no electors residing therein, may be annexed to
the municipality by a written petition signed by all the owners of record; and
WHEREAS, a petition to annex certain real estate to the United City of the Village
of Yorkville has been presented to the City Council of the United City of the Village of

5; thence East along the South line of said Lot 1 extended to the Easterly line
of State Route #47 for a point of beginning; thence continuing East along the
North line of Section 5 and Section 4, 981.68 feet to the Westerly line of State
Route #126; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of State Route #126, 896.2
feet; thence North 88 degrees 13' West 1790.3 feet to the Easterly line of State
Route #47; thence Northerly along the West line of State Route #47, 476.6 feet
to the point of beginning, all in Kendall Township, Kendall County, Illinois,
being contiguous to the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County,
Illinois, is hereby annexed to said City.
Section 2 - That theloundary lines of the City of Yorkville be and they are hereby
changed to include within the corporate limits thereof, the above-described territory.
Section 3 - That a certified copy of this Ordinance annexing the territory,
together with an accurate map of the annexed territory shall be filed for recording
in the Recorder's office of Kendall County, Illinds, by the City Clerk.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
