ILLINOIS, VACATI"'G A PORTION OF JEF7ERSON
STREET LOCATED V THI7 THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, the Corporate authorities have considered the
vacation of a portion of Jefferson Street located in the United
City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois ,
hereinafter more fully described. and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has investigated and
inquired into whether or not the public interest will be sub-
served by vacating a portion of said street, and
WHEREAS, the City Council after investigation has determined
tLat the public interest will be subserved by tl e vacation herein
proposed and that in the judgment of the City Council said
vacation is necessary and d6sirable except that t�.e City shall
reserve such rights of way and easements as presently exist for
continuing public service by means of sewer and water facility
and for the maintenance, renewal and reconstruction thereof.
NOW, TT_ IE-IREFORE, BW IT ORDAITED by the City Council of the
United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois,
as follows :
Section 1 - That the following described property being a
portion of Jefferson Street in the City of Yorkville, Kendall
County, Illinois, be and the same is hereby vacated under and by
virtue of the laws of the State of Illinois:
The North Half of Jefferson Street lying between
Van Emmon and Madison Streets in the United "ity
of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois .
Section 2 - That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon it 's approval and passage.
