Ordinance 1964-11 1 "An Ordinance of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, Vacating a portion of North Main Street Located within the City Limits" WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have considered the vacation of a portion of North Main Street located in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, here- inafter more fully described and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has investigated and inquired into whether or not the public interest will be subserved by vacating a portion of said street and, WHEREAS, the City Council after investigation has determined that the public interest will be subserved by the vacation herein proposed and that in the judgment of the City Council said vacat- ion is necessary and desirable for the continuing public service and that the public will be relieve from further burden and res- ponsibility of maintaining said portion of said street; NOW, THEREFCpE, BE IT CPDAITTt{ID by the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illincis, as follows : Section 1. That the following described property being a portion of North Main Street in the City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, be andthe same is hereby vacated under and by of the virtue./ laws of the State of Illinois : That part of the Easterly 5.3 feet of North Main Street which lies North of Hydraulic Avenue and South of the Fox River in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois Section 2. That this Ordinance shall become effect immediately upon it ' s approval and passage.
