Ordinance 1962-10 r AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVITLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, certain streets in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, have identical names and the public interest willbe best sub-served by changing the names of certain streets so as to alleviate confusion, AND WHEREAS, the Illinois Municipal Code, Division 80, Section 11-80-19, provides that the corporate authorities may change the name of any street, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows: Section 1 - That Washington Street in the Borough of Bristol, in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, is hereby changed to the name of East Jackson Street and said street shall in the future be known as East Jackson Street. Section 2-- That Adams Street in the Borough of Yorkville, in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, is hereby changed to the name of West Beecher Street and said street shall in the future be known as West Beecher Street. Section 3 - That West Franklin Street from Bridge Street to the City Limits in the Borough of Yorkville, in the United City of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, is hereby changed to the name of Fox Road and said street shall in the future be known as Fox Road. Section - That the proper city officials are directed to make the necessary changes on the City maps and the City street signs so as to effect the changes set forth above. 2 Section 5 - That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby amended in so far as same conflict. Section 6 - That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication as required by law. PASSED this �?Iif day of April, A.
