The meeting was called by President Devereaux for the
purpose of meeting with the Fire Department to discuss matters
of mutual interest.Also to' take up the proposed Liquor

The fir8t order of buisness was the question of moving the 'I
'siren from its present location to the top of the County Jail.

After a discussion on this matter a committee was appointed
to take care of same as follows.
On motion by Schumacher seconded by Hage the Fire Committee
bteet with the Supervisors of Kendall County asking them for
permission for installing the Siren on the Kendall County Jail. II
,Roll Call Ayes Six.Nays None.Carried and so ordered.
The next order of bui^ness was a discussion about -the chem-
ical tanks on the fire truck.Mr.Morr. is Gardner was called upon
to explain to the board the advantages and disadvantages of
the tanks now used on the Fire Truck.After this talk a general

discussion tok place.The most in ortant
discussion _ p question being as to
whether it would be logical to repair the old tanks, Install new
Chemical tanks or install a new booster tank in place of the

iCriemical tanks.Tnis ratter was dispossed of by the following
motion. �
On motion by Schumacher seconded by Friedberg the Village
Plerk write a letter to the State Department of Registration I
and Education asking thew the relative effectiveness of

Tne next order of buisness was the question of tue fee to be
; charged on a new Liquor Ordinance.
On. motion by Friedberg seconded by Dhuse the fee for a "Class
license be one hundred dollars 100.00)Roll Call Ayes Six
Nays None Carried and so orddred.
On motion by Friedberg seconded by Dhuse the fee for a "Class
A" license be four hundred d.ollars. ($40C'.CC) .Roll Call Ayes six,
Nays None Carried and so ordered.
A new Liquor ordinance was then read.
On motion by Schumacher seconded by Friedberg theNew Liquor
ad and that the
ordinance be passed on the first reading as re

The third r-7ading or the ordinance was tilen read.
On motion by Friedberg seconded by Hage the New Liquor ordinan-41-
