An ordinance entitled "An ordinance making the annual -tax levy
for , the Village of Yorkville, in the County of Kendall and State
of clllinois, for the fiscal year commencing May 1st, A. D. 1934.0 ,
Whereas the Village Board of the Village of Yorkville has
.' heretofore passed its appropriation ordinance for the fiscal yearil
beginning May 1st , A. D. 1934, wherein and whereby the following i
appropriations among others were made as follows:
For interest on fire equipment bonds 66.00
For paymen'# of maturing fire equipment bonds 400.00 !!
For interest on right-of-way bonds 157.50
For payment of maturing right-of-way bonds 500.00
For -street lighting and pumping 1600.00
For salaries and labor 1500.00 !
For improving the streets 2500.00
For cement walks and curbs 500.00
For fire equipment and supplies in fire - I
d6partm3ent 250.QA
For water works- bonds and interest 848.00
And whereas the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Yorkville has ascertained the tde,l amount of appropria-
tions for all corporate purposes legally made and to be cbllec-
ted from the tax levy of the present fiscal year,
Therefore,
Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Yorkville, in the County of Kendall and State of
Illinois:-

Seo*ion 1. That there be and there hereby is levied upon
all property, real and personal, subject to taxation within the
obrpdrate limits of the Village of Yorkville, in the County of
Kendall and State of Illinois, for the fiscal year commencing
May 1st, A. D. 1934, as the same is assessed and equalized for
State and County purposes for the current pear the .following
sum's, to-wit:-
For interest on fire equipment bonds, a
sum which will realize the amount of $ 66.00 !-
For payment of maturing fire equipment bonds
a sum which will realize the amount of 400.00
For interest on right-of-way bonds, a
sum which will realize the amount of 157.50
For payment of maturing right-of-way bonds,
a sum which will realize the amount of 500.00
For Street lighting and pumping 1400 -60
For Salaries and labor / e o. 06
For improving streets
For cdment sidewalks and curbs
For fire equipment and supplies in the
fire department 250.00

Section 2. That of said sums the amount levied for payment of p in-
cipal and interest on fired equipment bonds, the principal and
interest .of right-of-wqy bonds are levied in excess of the gen-
eral tax rate
P- the said particular items being so levied in ex-
cess because and by reason of compliance with the laws of the
State of Illinois with reference to the levying In excess of thesi
general rate and by reason of referendum. heretofore had on said
propositions.
Section .3* That the Village Clerk of the Village of Yorkville
be and he is hereby directed and ordered to file a certified ,
copy of this ordinance in the office of the County Clerk of said ;!
County o� Kendall as required by law; and the County Clerk. is
hereby instructed to extend the above taxes pursuant to law. ,
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its due passage and publication as required "
by law.

Whereas, in the judgment of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois ,
there is no necessity for the use of any of the municipality's
allotment of Motor Fuel Tax Funds for -the construction and/or
reconstruction of state highways in said municipality, there-

Be it resolved by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois there is
hereby appropriated the sum of Five Hundred Twenty Two Dollars
l
and fifty cents (4522.50) from the municipality' s allotment of
Motor Fuel Tax funds to apply upon the payment of the princi- 'I
pal and interest on a certain right of way bond in the Village
of Y rkville, now outstanding, due October 1st , A. D. 1934,
whicft said bond is one of a series of bonds issued under and
by virtue of an ordinance of the Village of Yorkville, passed
and approved September 10th, A. D. 1928, and submitted to the
electors of said Village of Yorkville at a special election �!

held October 4th , A. D. 1928, at which election said ordinance

was a_.pproved and the bond issue authorized, and tr_e proceeds
i
of zhich bonds were used for the payment of the right-of-way
for State Bond Iesue Route 47 , where the same passed through
°,the said Village of Yorkville, and on which right-of-way so
purchased from said funds , was constructed the said route 47 ,

and which construction was made under a contract duly adver-
tis d and let by the Department of Public 'Forks and Buildings ,

Other information to assist in making an audit is as fol-
lows :
The total issue of which said bond is apart consists of
twelve (12) bonds of Five Hundred Dollars (4500.00) issued in
accordance with said ordinance, numbered one (1) to twelve (12
inclusive., and each bond being a coupon bond carrying ao
pro
priate coupons; these bonds are not s-Qecial assessment bonds ,
but are the direct obligation of the Village of Yorkville, and
issued in accordance with an ordinance passed and approved ''
September 10th
A. D. 1928, submitted to the voters under an
ordinance calling a special election dated September 10th,
A. D. 1928, and approved on said date, and at which special
election the electors of the Village of Yorkville voted to issue
said bonds in accordance with said ordinance, by a. vote of 235
in the affirmative, and 14 in the negative, and a certified

copy of which ordinance which included a direction to levy a zf
direct annual ta,x to pay the said bonds was filed in the office
of the County Clerk of Kendall County, Illinois, upon October
11th, 1928 where the same appears of records.
And be it further resolved, that t=he Village Clerk is here-
