City Council Minutes 1936 11-10-36 (Special CC) E A special meeting of tht, Board of Trustees of the Village of 11Yorkville was held November 10 , 1936. Present : President , L. K. Devereaux and Trustees Fred H. Hage, Charles Schumacher, Frank E. Barkley, Clair 0. Munson. Absent Trustees A. G. Loomis and Clarence Schulter it 'i Trustee Hage offered the following resolution and moved that ' the same be adopted. The motion to adopt was seconded by Trustee Schumacher and said motion was unanimously carried all present voting in favor thereof ant the president de- J Glared said resolution adopted which xesolution is in the . words and figures as follows: n II RESOLUTION 1 Be it resolved by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, That : It is the intention and desire of the Board of Trustees to render such assistance as it can to the Illinois Commerce Commission in the proceeding now undertaken by the Commission ! to inquire into the telephone rates charged throughout the �i Stat e. In furtherance thereof, the Village Attorney, the Village (� Engineer the Village Clerk and all other officers and employees of the village are hereby directed to give the commission, or its rapresentatives , at their request , such information and assistance as may be possible, *nd the Village attorney is directed to prepare for signature and filing a petition to intervene. The village clerk is hereby directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Yilinois Commerce Commission, One North LaSalle Street , Chicago , Illinois and to the Illinois Municipal League, 500 East Capitol Avenue, Springfield, Illinois.
