City Council Minutes 1937 05-03-37 May 3 , 1937
The final meeting of the President and Trustees of the
Village of Yorkville was held at the Village Hall in said
Village on May 3, 1931 at 7:30 o 'clock P.M.
President Devereaux; Trustees Sehulter , Schumacher ,
Loomis , Barkley and Munson. Absent; Trustee, page.
Minutes of all preceeding meetings were read and approved.
On motion of `trustee, Loomis seconaed by Trustee Schumacher,

The following resolution was offered:— ��
An ordinance concerning the payment of license fees under
the Liquor Ordinance was offered and upon motion of Trustee
Schumacher Seconded by Trustee Loomis, passed and adopted.

The Treasurers' Report was presented, by unanimous vote
approved, ordered published and referred to the incoming
Board.
The Qhairman of the Street andAlley Committee presented
a verbal report with reference to the alley East of Bridge
Street , and the petition of the certain land owners relative
thereto , and upon motion of Trustee Munson seconded by
Trustee Barkley , the petition was granted upon the pre-
sentation of proper dedications tor submission to the
Village Board.
The following resolution was offered4and upon Motion
made for that purpose, carried unanimously and said res-
olution adopted:
Whereas, Fred H. Hage, for years a member of the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, retiring
without seeking re-election has attenaed his last meeting , and
Whereas, this Boara desires to express its sincere
regard for the faithful service of said Fred H. Rage, and
his devition to the duties of his office over a long period
of years.
Now therefore be it , and it is hereby resolved that
this Board spread upon its records this resolution which
shall record, an expression of appreciation of the faith-
ful services of Fred H. Hage as Trustee of the Village
of Yorkville, Kendall County , Illinois.
Be it further resolved that a certified copy of this
resolution be sent said Fred H. Rage, and that a copy be
published in the Kendall County Record.

RESOLUTION FOR IY-PROVEMENT BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER
TPE' MOTOR :FUEL TAR LAW
Be it Resolved, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois, that the
following described streets be improved under the
Motor Fuel Tax Law:
Franklin St . and the Fox Road, which is also known as
Extension to S.B.I. Rt. No.
Extension to S.A. Rt . No. 1
Arterial Street No.
Extension to Arterial Street No.
from S.B.I . Rte. 47 to West limits of the Village of
Yorkville, a distance of approximately 2000 feet and
Be it further resolved, ;1
1. That the proposed improvement consist of a
Bituminous surface treatment , Sub—Class A-1 construction ;I
19 feet wide and shall be designated as Section 1 C. S.
2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
One Thousand and Seven Hundred- Dollars ( $1700.00)
for the improvement of said section from the municipality 's !
allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds.

3. That said work shall be� done by Contract; and,

Be it further resolved, that the Clerk is hereby directed
to transmit two certified copies of this resolution
to the Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division
of Highways, through its District Engineer' s office at
Elgin, Illinois.

as may be of moneys necessary to defray the expenses
or the corporation during the current fiscal year:
