The adjourned regular meeting of the President and Board of
'Trustees of the Village of Yorkvillewas held in the Village Hall
of said Village on October 24,1939 and called to order by
'President Devereaux at 8:00 P.M.
Finding present on roll call were President Devereaux,
Trustees Loomis,Schulter,Schumacher,Munson and Clerk Ament.
Absent;Trustee Barkley.
A resolution was read appropriating a sum of $495.80 out
of the Villages allotment of Motor 'Fuel Tax funds to complete
the improvement designated as Section 1-C.S. (See following page)
On motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Munson the
resolution coneerning the Improvement of Section 1-C.S. be paased
and adopted as read.
Roll Call: Ayes; Loomis,Munson, Schulter, Schumacher.
Nays; None. Carried and so ordered.
The contract of the Engineering Service 064anyVn,,Qohs dittAg
Engineers for engineering services in connection with the design
and construction of a sewage treatment plant in the Village of
Yorkville and the contract of Roger H. Clark, Attorney at Law,
for legal services in connection with design and construction
of a sewage treatment plant in the Village of Yorkville were- read.
On motion by 'Trustee Schumacher seconded by Trustee Schulter
the Village President and the Village Clerk be empowered to
execute the legal and engineering contracts of Roger H. Clark
and the Engineering Service Companyrespectively.
Roll call : Ayes; Loomis,Munson,Schulter,Schumacher
Plays: None. Carried and so ordered.

RESOLUTION FOR Ilt2PROVE14ENT BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE
11OTOR FUEL TAX LAW.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Yorkville, Illinois, that the following described
street be improved under the 11otor Fuel Tax Law:
Franklin Street, which is also known as Extension to S.A.
Rt . No. 1 from S.B.I.Rt. 47 to W. Limits of the Village of
Yorkville, a distance of approximately 2000 ft . and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
1. That the proposed improvement consist of Bituminous Surface
Treatment, subclass A-1 Construction 18 feet wide and shall
be designated as Section 1 C.S .
2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Four Hundred
Ninety Five and 80/100 Dollars (8+95.80 ) for the improvement
of said section from the municipality' s allotment of 11otor
Fuel Tax Funds .
3. That said Mork shall be done by Contract; and,
BE IT FTIRTF!ER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is hereby directed to
transmit two certified copies of this resolution to the
Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Highways,
through its District Engineer' s of'f'ice at Elgin, Illinois
