City Council Minutes 1940 04-01-40 Yorkville, Illinois April 1, 1940 �3 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of !� Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois was held in the Village Hall of said Village on April 1, 1940 and called to order by President Devereaux at 8:00 P.M. Finding present on roll call were President Devereaux,Trustee4 Schulter,Barkley,Loomis,Munson and Clerk Ament. Absent; Trustees Schumacher, Marshall. Minutes of the regular meeting held March 4, 1940 and of a special meeting held March 11, 1940 were read and so ordered approved. The regular monthly reports of the Clerk, Chief of Police and Police Magistrate were read and so ordered approved. Roll gall: Ayes; Schulter,Ba.rkley,Loomis ,Munson Nays;None. Carried and so ordered. i A certificate of source of milk supply of milk sold in the Village of Yorkville by him was.;received from Mr. H. R:::.Barlishury Y,*gpresentring:. tha.Roek Creek Farm was read. i Yorkville, Illinois April 1, 1940 it Cdr. a.H.Deuschler spoke to the Board in reference to filing ;'; under IT.P.A. for the construction of the proposed sewage disposal plant. He stated that to build a plant approved by the Sanitary Water Board under VwP .A ewould reqtLtce the Village to supply $1,500.00 in addition to the bonds already voted. On motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Loomis a committee be appointed to make a survey of public sentiment as to the new proposition said proposition being filing application under W.P.A. for the construction of the proposed sewage disposal plant with an additional $1,500.00 as the sponsors contribution. Carried and so ordered. President Devereaux then appointed the following to act on the aforesaid committee . F.E.Barkley(Chairman) C.0.Munson and F.Q. Loomis.
