City Council Minutes 1941 11-03-41 Yorkville, Illinois November 3, 1941 'T The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of I,Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois was held in the �!Village Hall of said Village on November 3, 1941 and called to ,.order by President Devereaux at 8:00 P.M. Finding present on roll call were President Devereaux, Trustees Schulter,Barkley, Tiunson,Price and Clerk Ament . Absent; Trustees Loomis and 11arshall . Minutes of the regular meeting held October 6, 1941 and of the special meeting held October 13, 1941 ixrere read and so ordered a-ooroved. A be4ttwbt-- for lfalbuilding permit from the Kendall Farmers oil ' Company for the construction of a feed warehouse was read and on motion by Trustee Barkley seconded by Trustee Munson the Kendall Farmers Oil Company be granted a building permit as requested. Carried and so ordered. A resolution,te. Arge the construction of a side walk on the , outside of the railing on the west side of the bridge where State Route 47 crosses Fox River was read and on motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Price the resolution be passed and adopted as read. Carried and so ordered. Homer G. Dickson and Fred E. Ohse spoke to the Board in regard to the tearing down of the damaged building which 1B ,located south of Fred ohsels store . Prwsident Devereaux suggested that they contact Village Attorney Clark in this matter. proposed The new/traffic ordinance fot the Village of Yorkville was read and discussed and some changes made and was referred � back to the Village Attorney for revisian, incorporating the i! suggested changes. Trustee Munson reported in regard to the proposed survey of the water system that he had contacted Walter S Deuschler , an ;. engineer, tho would test the pumps,figure power amount of water ,pumped check with consumption and that his fee would be $25-00 per day. On motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Price that Walter S. Deuschler be employed as an engineer to make a j moo :! survey of the water system of the Village . . Roll Call: Ayes; Schulter,Barkley,Munson,Price. Nays; None. Carried and so ordered.
