�I The regular/meeting of the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois was held in the Village
Hall of said Village on February 2, 1942 and was waled to order ,
by President Devereaux at 9:00 P.M.
Finding present on roll call were President Devereaux,
Trustees Schulter, Barkley, Marshall , Price and Clerk Ament
Absent; Trustees Munson and Loomis.
Rtinutes of the regular meeting held January 5, 1942 were
read and so ordered approved.
The regular monthly reports of the Clerk, Treasurer, Chief of
Police and Police Magistrate were read and so ordered approved.
Bills were then read as follows:-
Secretary of State, Illinois 1941 Truck license 2.00
M.P. Mortensen, County Clerk Filing fee-Brinkman matter 10.00

On motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Barkley the
bills be referred to the Finance !Committee and be paid if found

The communication from Frank Pennutto which was read at the
January meeting and held over until this meeting was again ?'
brought up and on motion by Trustee Price seconded by Trustee
Marshall the communication from Frank Pennuto be tabled until
the 1ks next meeting. Carried and so ordered.

1, A communication from the Division of Highways regarding the f
1investment of Motor Fuel Tax balances in U.S. Defense bonds .was
' read and was ordered filed.
An Ordinance for the adoption of "War Time" As the official
time for the Village of Yorkville was then read and on motion
by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Marshall the Ordinance
for the adoption of "War Time" for the Village of Yorkville be
passed and adopted.
Roll Call Ayes:-Schulter,Barkley,Marshall, Price.
Nays:- None. Carried and so .ordered.

A report from the Fire Department was then read , the report;
covered the htnmber of fire calls answered, the amount of damage etc.
On motion by Trustee Marshall seconded by Trustee Schulter a check
be drawn in the amount of $45.00 payable to the Yorkville Fire
Department in payment of three fire calls answered. (9/4/41-
9/21/41- 11/28/41)
Roll Call -Ayee- Schulter,Barkley,Marshall,Price.
Nays- None. Carried and so ordered.
On motion by Trustee Barkley seconded by Trustee Price that
$250.00 be transfered from the Water Fund to the General Fund.
Carried nad so ordered.
($250.00 is still due the General Fund from the Water Fund)
For the Civilian Defense Registration to be held February 5,
1942 , President Devereaux appointed the following persons to
act as regiitbars2
Director- L.R. Jeter 2 pm- 6 pm J.R. Marshall 6-8 PM
L.K. Devereaux it 11 J.E. Price 6-8 PM
Leonard Larson If It D.N.- Ament S-8 PM
President Devereaux then appointed James E. Price to be
AIR Raid Warden for the Village of Yorkville.
